About

The Atlanta Art Awards, formerly known as the Burghàlie Art Awards,  is a night of dedication to emerging talent and outstanding leadership hosted by the Burghàlie Academy of Visual Arts. The event consist of outstanding performances, notable recognitions, powerful public speaking, and much more. Burghàlie intends to bring awareness to the following categories:

Cinematographer of the Year

This award recognizes the work of an individual or organization whose innovative work has made a notable impact on the industry, defining the shape of both videography and cinematography.

Photographer of the Year

This award recognizes an individual who has exemplified art and creativity through photography in this year's judging term.

Musician of the Year

This award recognizes an individual or group that has exemplified art and creativity through music in this year's judging term.

Physical Artist of the Year

Recognizes an artist whose innovative work has made a notable impact on the industry, defining the shape of physical art.

Digital Artist of the Year

Recognizes a digital editor whose innovative work has made a notable impact on the industry, defining the shape of graphic designs.


Female Model of the Year

Recognizes the impact of a model that identifies as female, who over the last 12 months has dominated the fashion industry. With an influence that transcends the catwalk, the Female Model of The Year has made an outstanding contribution to the industry, garnering numerous editorial and advertising campaigns throughout the year.

Male Model of the Year

Recognizes the impact of a model that identifies as male, who over the last 12 months has dominated the fashion industry. With an influence that transcends the catwalk, the Male Model of The Year has made an outstanding contribution to the industry, garnering numerous editorial and advertising campaigns throughout the year.


Fashion Designer of the Year

Recognizes a fashion designer whose innovative work has made a notable impact on the industry, defining the shape of global fashion.

REQUIREMENTS

All participants must be 18 years of age or older
Nominees will be judged solely off of the work that is submitted 
Submitted material must be produced between July of the previous year and June of the current year
